Perched above a canyon with sweeping views, this backyard was designed to be a place
where the family could slow down and gather. The brief was simple: create a central moment
that would anchor the outdoor space while complementing the home’s relaxed, contemporary architecture.

At the heart of the design is our Strands Fire Table, positioned to frame the landscape beyond. The fire element introduces warmth and movement, naturally drawing people together as the sun sets over the hills. Its clean geometry and quiet material presence allow the surrounding view to remain the focal point, while still giving the space a strong architectural center.

To complement the fire feature, the clients requested a custom concrete dining table finished to match the fire table. By carrying the same finish and tonal quality across both pieces, the design achieves a subtle material continuity that ties the entire outdoor environment together. The result is a cohesive pairing—two functional elements that read as part of a unified design language.

The space now serves exactly as intended: a place where family and friends gather—around the fire, around the table, and around the view.
